FailSafe Communications Advocates Advances in Technology To the FCC

On January 16, 2024, FailSafe Communications, Inc. made a filing with the Federal Communications Commission. The FCC wants all telephone companies to be able to detect and report outages that affect callers to 911 and 988. In its filing, FailSafe advocated the advanced use of the telephone network that it calls TeleSentient®. TeleSentient is a set of early warning tools that will rapidly detect outages affecting 911 and 988. FailSafe also envisioned other uses of the telephone system’s intelligent signaling capabilities that could enhance safety for all Americans.
